There are 1.5 million children under the age of 17 that are homeless in the Philippines. Many have been orphaned from tragedy or sickness. Several are abandoned at very young ages because of poverty, left to the streets in belief that they will be better off begging for change on the corner. Of these children, a conservative estimate of 100,000 are forced into sex trafficking and prostitution. There are reports of children as young as age three, being forced into these kinds of situations for as little as $20. Those that aren’t forced into this life style are often lured into drugs. They have a drug called “Shabu” that is cheaper than food and lasts longer.
Won’t you help us give these children a chance at a new life, the opportunity to create a legacy of their own?
Will you be the hands and feet of Jesus to these orphans?
The Lord calls upon us to “help the least of these”. ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Matthew 25:40
